Zero Pilot privacy policy
What the Zero Pilot app on your phone does with your data. This website's own policy is on the Privacy page.
The short version
Zero Pilot connects your phone to your Zer0 OS glasses. Everything it hears, sees or reads is processed on your phone and, when you cast, sent directly to your own glasses over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Microphone
Used for the voice assistant, wake word, speech recognition and live translation, and to carry sound while casting. Speech is turned into text by AI models that run on your phone. Audio and transcripts are not stored after they are used and never leave your phone except to your own glasses.
Screen and camera
When you choose Send screen, Android asks for your permission and Pilot streams your screen (or one app) to your glasses. If you choose to send your camera, the camera picture is streamed the same way. The stream goes only to your glasses on your local connection and is not recorded or stored.
Calendar
If you allow it, the assistant reads your upcoming calendar events on your phone so it can answer questions such as "what's next today". Events are read on demand, are not copied anywhere and are never uploaded.
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and nearby devices
Used only to find, pair with and connect to your glasses, including a direct Wi-Fi link for casting. On Android 10 and 11 the system calls Bluetooth scanning a location permission; Pilot does not determine or store your location.
Notifications
Pilot shows a notification while it is connected, casting or downloading, so that Android keeps those tasks running.
AI model downloads
The speech, translation and assistant models are downloaded from our update server the first time you use them. Like any web server, it receives your IP address and the name of the file requested, to deliver the download. We do not link this to you and do not keep it beyond normal server logs.
Data shared or sold
None. Pilot does not collect personal data, so there is nothing to share or sell. Data stays on your phone and your glasses, and you can delete it at any time by clearing Pilot's storage or uninstalling it.
Children
Pilot is not directed at children under 13.
